Pokémon GO: Beldum Community Day will be on January 21, 2023
Pokémon GO has announced that Beldum will be the featured Pokémon for the January 2023 Community Day event.
The event will take place on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
During the event, Beldum will appear more frequently in the wild, and players will have an increased chance of encountering a Shiny Beldum.
Beldum will also learn a special move during the event. If players evolve Metang (Beldum's evolution) into Metagross during the event or up to two hours afterward, the Metagross will learn the Charged Attack Meteor Mash.
In addition to the increased Beldum spawns, there will also be a number of other bonuses active during the event. These bonuses include:
- 3× Catch XP
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon
- 2× Stardust for catching Pokémon
- 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance
- Incense and Lures will last for three hours
Players are encouraged to take advantage of these bonuses and stock up on Beldum Candy during the event.
Beldum is a Steel/Psychic-type Pokémon that was introduced in the third generation of Pokémon games. It is the first stage in a three-stage evolutionary line, with Metang being the middle stage and Metagross being the final stage.
Beldum is a relatively weak Pokémon, but it can evolve into Metagross, which is a very powerful Pokémon. Metagross is a popular choice for competitive battling, and it is often used as a tank or attacker.
